Timi Lewis is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Urban Resource Institute. In this position, she will play a critical role in setting the strategy and execution of areas including branding, internal and external communications, public relations and digital media activities to engage with key audiences, drive awareness and influence, and advance URI’s mission and impact.
Most recently, Timi advised companies in healthcare, education and the arts as a Communications Consultant, and was Director of Communications for The Governance Lab, a data research center. She also served as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Housing Partnership Network, an affordable housing business collaborative. Ahead of these roles, Timi served as Director of Corporate Affairs and Strategic Planning for NYC Media, a media group owned and operated by the City of New York. She was also a Project Manager with Ernst & Young’s corporate social responsibility practice.
Timi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy Studies from Duke University, and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
