Tasha Jackson is Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Urban Resource Institute. In this role, she is responsible for the overall strategic financial leadership, goals, objectives, and controls of the organization. Tasha brings over 15 years of senior-level financial experience providing financial leadership and management to organizations such as The Salvation Army and the Girls Scout of Connecticut. Most recently at the Girls Scout of Connecticut, Tasha served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Tasha possesses expertise in budgeting, forecasting, business valuations, and acquisitions.
Tasha holds an MBA in Leadership from Post University and a BA in Finance and Insurance from the University of Hartford. She is an active member of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), Women’s Leadership Council, and the Institute of Management Accountants. Tasha also actively volunteers in areas that support the empowerment of women, minorities, and underrepresented populations. She was a finalist for CFO of the Year by Hartford Business Journal in 2013 and was a 100 Women of Color Honoree in 2017.
