Liz Samurovich serves as URI’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications. She is an expert marketing executive with vast experience creating success-driven, innovative and strategic brand building campaigns. As the leader for the organization’s marketing and communications campaigns, Liz focuses energy and resources on the unique brand differentiating People and Animals Living Safely (PALS) program.
She began her career in the advertising industry working for many of the top 10 global agencies including Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erickson, DDB Needham and Young & Rubicam. In her capacity as Global Media Director/ Strategic Liaison, working on Fortune 500 accounts, Liz set strategies and spearheaded multi-media and integrated advertising plans that drove awareness and sales. Her passion for developing original, multi-media and creative marketing and PR plans that help build brands led her to the non-profit arena where she set strategies for the renowned performing arts center, Symphony Space, the highly regarded Museum of Arts and Design, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
