Responsible for providing overall management, supervision and team building to all individuals and staff within each program as assigned. In addition to, the effective delivery of I/DD residential program services; effectively collaborating with government entities, other provider agencies and individual’s family members to ensure the highest level of person-centered care. The Residential Program Manager/QIDP will have a proven track record of progressively responsible residential operations and team building experience at a management level in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities; knowledge of OPWDD funding, fiscal management, program regulatory operations and ability to maintain both Agency and OPWDD standards. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field required. Minimum of 5 years administrative experience, preferably in a twenty-four (24) hour residential facility. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in I/DD or related field. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. Must be AMAP, SCIP-R, First Aid and CPR certified. Must be a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). Must have strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have Valid NYS Driver’s license. Must be computer-literate and must have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
