The Early RAPP Educators will provide workshops to students, parents, and school staff. Early RAPP Educators will be responsible for delivering preventative workshops to educate on relationship abuse and domestic violence at Early RAPP designated schools. Early RAPP Educators will also link students and families to direct services as needed. The position of Early RAPP Educator is a full time position. As an Early RAPP Educator, they will be assigned 8 middle schools throughout the DOE that are participating in Early RAPP. Early RAPP Educators will work in the field at their designated schools for four days out of the week and will report to URI’s Early RAPP office once a week for supervision and programming. Bachelor’s Degree with the minimum of 3 years experience teaching/training youth. Competence working with diverse groups of youth, including, lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, immigrant, youth in foster care, and/or low-income youth and communities. Training/teaching experience strongly preferred. Bilingual preferred.
