Administrative Manager

Administrative Manager is responsible for providing executive support to the Division Head, liaising with Finance, and serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all Program matters, including project-related initiatives. He/she will provide a bridge for smooth communication between the Division Head and the Program Directors and DV departments, demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with management and staff. This manager will complete a variety of administrative tasks for the Division Head including calendar management, composing and preparing correspondence and preparing agendas. Additionally, Manager will research, prioritize, and follow-up on incoming issues and concerns of varying sensitivity, keep Division Head informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, and prepare logistics around selected events. We are looking for a highly resourceful team-player with the ability to work independently on projects, and work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of deliverables confidentially and with discretion. BA/BS in Communications, Education, or Business required, Master’s Degree preferred; 5 to 10 years’ experience supporting Executives, preferably in a non-profit organization; Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms; Experience planning and managing operational projects, and demonstrated proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; Strong organizational skills to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail; Expert level written and verbal communication skills; Must possess critical thinking skills, and have the ability to seek alternative solutions, conclusions and approaches to problems.
