Shannon M. Carey is the Vice President of Development & Communications at Urban Resource Institute. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all fundraising as well as marketing, communications, and branding. She has held a wide variety of leadership roles prior to joining URI, most recently serving as the Founder and President of Four Leaf Clover Consulting. Ms. Carey has a strong history of successful fundraising campaigns in her work through organizations including Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA), Urban League of Broward County, Atlanta Neighborhood Development Partnership, Girls Incorporated of Greater Atlanta, and United Way of Miami-Dade and United Way of Atlanta. She enjoys working at Urban Resource Institute because she is drawn to the organization’s commitment to changing lives. Ms. Carey holds a degree in Criminal Justice from Indiana University.
