Working under the direct supervision of the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Programs, is responsible for the planning, development, and management of the agency’s community, education, and prevention’s programs and services. As a member of URI’s Senior Team, the Senior Director will work with program leaders and other staff to develop, manage and evaluate services that represent the best practices in the field. Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field required; Doctoral degree preferred. Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years’ demonstrated strategic management experience in social services. Experience with client-centered, trauma-informed best practices within identified services industries required. Must be an effective leader with exceptional interpersonal, communications, writing, speaking and presentation skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others to accomplish agency’s goals. Must be computer-literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
