Manage the day-to-day operation of a domestic violence or homeless shelter; oversee administering of client services; maintain compliance with city and state rules and regulations; develop collaborations with community organizations and government agencies; manage billing and program finances; hire, supervise and evaluate staff; represent URI at city and statewide coalitions and committees; assist with grant proposals, reports, and program evaluation. This position will have regular and substantial contact with children. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Human Services or a related field and LCSW/LMSW certification required plus three+ years managing residential program; five+ years of supervisory experience; knowledgeable of domestic violence or homeless issues.
